February - Make a ceramic heart bowl

Join us during the month of love and make a heart shaped dish or bowl.This month's session is designed to gently introduce you to working with clay in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's perfect for beginners as we'll guide you throughout the process.

Over 2.5 hours, you'll embark on a creative journey, starting with an introduction to the medium. You'll then get hands-on as you learn how to wedge – an essential skill for preparing your clay – and how to roll out a perfect slab.

The highlight of this workshop is creating your unique heart dish. You'll use the slab building technique to make a perfectly shaped bowl and will be able to finish it with stamps or carving tools giving it a personal touch. To add a splash of color, you'll then use underglazes to paint your bowl, making your creation truly your own.

The workshop fee includes all the materials you'll need, along with the firing of one piece up to 20x20cm in size. Should you wish to create larger or additional pieces, they can be fired for an extra 5€ per piece. Come solo or bring a friend, and discover the joy of working with clay with us!
