Our ad-hoc handbuilding workshops are the perfect way to dive into the wonderful world of ceramics, whether you're a curious beginner or looking to expand your existing skills.

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring 2.5-hour session where you'll learn the fundamental techniques of hand-building with clay, including working with coils, slabs and pinch pots. We'll guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident as you bring your ideas to life. We rotate between our classic "make a mug" workshop and new and exciting projects, allowing you to explore different forms and techniques.

Our workshops are designed for everyone – whether you're seeking a laid back introduction to ceramics, a pleasant creative escape, or a fun activity to share with friends. You can come solo and make new connections, or bring your pals for a memorable shared experience.

At the end of each session you'll have a beautiful, handmade piece ready for firing, which you can then proudly take home after a few weeks. Materials, use of tools, clear glaze and firing are included, you simply need to show up and create. Get ready to relax, explore, and leave with something truly special!
