Make your own project (December 4-week cycle)

€65,00
Details

Come along with your project ideas and we'll help you create them over the course of 4 weeks.

4-week cycle: you pay 65€ which includes 4 sessions, once per week, over the course of 4 weeks.

Duration: first session is 2.5 hours long, all other sessions are 2 hours each.

Bring your own project: come with your ideas and we'll guide you! If you need a bit of inspiration, we'll help you with books, magazines and Pinterest boards. You can make as many pieces as you'd like over the course of 4 weeks (we suggest 2-3 as a manageable number)

What is included: materials (clay, glaze, underglazes), tools, drinks, VAT

What is not included: firing. You will be charged separately for firing depending on the volume of your pieces. Expect roughly 5€ - 20€ per piece.

Number of participants: minimum of 4 people for the class to run. Maximum of 6 people. If we don't run the class, you receive a full refund.

Ideal for you if:

  • you've tried a class already, you liked it and want to continue on a more regular basis,
  • you have a specific project idea that you want to bring to life,
  • you want to attempt more complex ceramics projects that cannot be completed in a single session, such as adding feet or handles to your piece, working further with slabs and coil pots or want to work on giving your pots a beautiful finish,
  • you want to learn more about ceramics. It's up to you how deep we go, from simply attempting to make your own version of a design you like to learning more about ceramic materials, firings, how to reclaim and all the jargon like stains, engobes, earthenware, stoneware, porcelain, slip, bisque, glaze etc.,
  • you'd like to become part of a community!
